Mommy and Daddy brought home that new brother....his name is Checkers (like the checkered flag for racing)! He is cute, 
but I'm still kinda wary.
He is a 26 day old Syrian hamster.
Right now he's pretty small, but Mom says he will get to be about 5-7 inches.
I still think that's kind of small.
I don't think Sidka has notice there's a new family member. But Ginny and I have noticed!
